• The Modern Matriarch

For mothers who love their children deeply and are ready to find themselves again.

You weren’t supposed to lose yourself.
You were supposed to simply “have a baby”.

The Modern Matriarch is the community, the conversation, and the permission you have been looking for your entire Motherhood.

You were never meant to disappear.

You were meant to rise.

Inside The Modern Matriarch, you’re in the company of Mothers who are choosing expansion over exhaustion, truth over performance, and legacy over limitation.

LET'S SPEAK SOME TRUTH, Y’ALL

You had a whole life before you became a Mother….perhaps a career that made you feel powerful, a body you knew, friends who called you by your name not your child's name. Dreams you were actively, excitedly building.

Then Motherhood arrived. And you love those babies you made - completely, without question.

However, nobody warned you about the identity shift…..about how your body changing, your sleep disappearing, your capacity shrinking, your friendships drifting, your marriage straining - would quietly add up to you disappearing.

Not all at once. Very slowly over time and you don’t realize it’s happening until one day you wake up and look in the mirror and think, “who the hell is that? and who the hell am I anymore?”

"I felt stuck. I felt like a victim. I felt like I had to shrink myself to make everything work — and in the process, I lost myself completely."

Perhaps you did what I did and looked around for women willing to talk about this honestly, women who weren't performing gratitude while quietly falling apart, women who understood that you can love your children with your whole heart and grieve the loss of yourself at the exact same time.

You couldn't find them.

It’s not because they don't exist; it’s because we were taught to stay quiet about it.

But - full stop - a Matriarch is NOT a victim. She is a leader.

The woman Modern Matriarch was built for:

  • She had a whole life before the babies, and she had no idea that life would shift so completely — not just her schedule, but her self.

  • She watches her partner move through the world with his body, his career, and his identity largely intact (while hers were restructured from the foundation up) and she carries the rage and the grief from that without knowing where to put it.

  • She maybe had a successful career she misses, not just the income, but the validation, the competence, the version of herself that existed inside that space.

  • She is lonely in a life full of people who need her. Invisible inside her own family. Angry at herself for being angry at all.

  • She's trying to remember who she was before the babies but she's having a hard time finding her way back to that woman.

  • She was told that a “good Mother” sacrifices everything. And she tried, but she's exhausted. And some small voice inside her is saying: this is not all there is.

If you read any part of that and felt both seen and heard, you're in the right place, Mama.

THE LIE WE WERE TOLD

Your Mother told you. Her Mother showed her. Your culture praises it. The women before you quietly put themselves away in service of their families and were called “selfless”, “devoted”, “good Mothers” for it.

So you believed it. We all did. We have watched it happen our entire lives. We have watched women shrink and sacrifice and be celebrated for their depletion. Being a martyr is valued, even praised. So we learned that wanting things for ourselves - a career, a creative life, ambition, expansion, more - makes us “bad Mothers”, selfish even, or a woman who isn’t prioritizing her family.

We have been praising martyrdom and calling it love

for generations.

A Mother who is empty cannot pour into anything else. Certainly not sustainably and not in the way her children deserve.

The opposite of self-sacrifice is not selfishness - it is abundance. A real, overflowing, generous abundant life for you, and an overflow that touches everyone you love.

When we are our healthiest, most whole, most alive selves - that is when our families become the most abundant version of themselves! Isn’t that the whole point??

The Modern Matriarch is a place to tell the truth about Motherhood, reclaim your voice and desires, and rise into the most whole, alive version of yourself alongside women who get it and are embarking on the same journey.

You were never meant to disappear into Motherhood.

You were meant to rise into Motherhood without abandoning yourself.

You are a Matriarch.
It's time to step into her.

WHY I BUILT THIS

I Mothered two small children without enough support for many years. I felt the lack of acknowledgment…. from my spouse, my family, my community, my culture… for what I was doing day in and day out and through the night. I felt stuck. I felt like a victim. I felt like I had to make myself smaller to make everything work.

Somewhere during that time, I lost myself without even realizing it was happening in the moment.

I looked for a community of women who were willing to talk about this. Women who weren't performing gratitude while quietly falling apart. Women who could hold the truth that you can love your children with everything you have and mourn the loss of yourself at the same time.

I couldn't find that.

So I started looking at what I wish I'd had. What I still want. What I believe most Mothers desperately need and almost none of us are receiving.

We were never designed to do this alone.

Human beings raised children in villages, in circles, in communities of women who held the wisdom, shared the load, and held each other through the hard and beautiful parts.

We are living in the most isolated version of Motherhood that has ever existed, and we are calling the resulting loneliness a personal failing.

It is not a personal failing. It is the inevitable result of asking women to do the most sacred, most demanding work in the world completely, entirely, alone.

The Modern Matriarch is the village. It is the circle. It is the place where we tell the truth and find our way back to ourselves, together.

WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE IN THIS COMMUNITY?

On the other side of this shift, you remember.

You remember what lit you up

The hobbies. The work. The creative spark. The things that made you feel like yourself before Motherhood asked you to put them on pause indefinitely.

You releases the shame

The guilt of wanting more. The shame of feeling angry. The weight of a story that told you you were wrong for wanting more than Motherhood.

You build the life you keep putting off

The business. The degree. The creative project. The career pivot. The empire. You realize none of it ever had to wait and you start building it now.

You stand in your power

No longer shrinking. No longer performing. No longer making yourself smaller so others are more comfortable. You take up the space you always did before.

You Mother from abundance

Not from depletion. Not from duty alone. But with more fullness, joy, and room for yourself, because that is a gift to your children, and to you.

You write your own story

You stop living the one handed to you by your culture, your family, your fear. You pick up the pen. You write a legacy worth leaving. You remember who the hell you are.

WHAT'S INSIDE

This is not a self-care membership.
This is a self-reclamation mentorship.

When you join The Modern Matriarch, you gain:

A community that tells the truth

Not the curated version. Not the performance of gratitude. The real conversation about identity, loss, resentment, ambition, marriage, and the beautiful work of coming back to yourself.

Mentorship & guidance

From women who have walked this path. Who know what it costs to put yourself back together, and what it feels like to come out the other side whole. This includes grounded frameworks and conversations that help you reconnect to your identity, desires, relationships, and next chapter.

Honest, held conversations

Live sessions, deep discussions, and regular spaces to process what's actually happening, not what you're supposed to be feeling. There is room here for the anger and the grief and the joy all together.

Tools for reclamation

Resources, frameworks, and real support for rebuilding your identity, your ambition, your creative life, your sense of self alongside your Motherhood, not instead of it.

Liberating permission

To want more. To build more. To be more. To stop performing martyrdom. To step into the fullest, most expansive version of yourself, and know that your wholeness is not selfish. It is part of the legacy you leave.

FROM INSIDE THE COMMUNITY

What happens when women finally find a community that keeps it real?

MOTHER OF TWO · MEMBER SINCE LAUNCH

“I didn't know how much I needed to hear someone say this out loud. I've been carrying the anger for three years and I thought something was wrong with me. Now I know it was information.”

ENTREPRENEUR & MOTHER OF THREE

“I started my business inside this community. The permission I found here — not from a coach, but from other Mothers who believed in me — changed everything.”

MOTHER OF ONE · FORMER CORPORATE LEADER

“I remember the exact moment I realized I'd stopped disappearing. My daughter asked me what I was working on and I told her with pride. That's the gift this community gave me.”

NEW MOTHER · SEVEN MONTHS POSTPARTUM

“Nobody talks about the identity shift. Nobody. Until here. And once you name it, you can heal it. That's what this place does — it names it.”

The Modern Matriarch is a membership community and mentorship for mothers who are ready to reclaim themselves—and step into a bigger life of leadership, self-expression, meaningful work, and legacy, without abandoning themselves or the people they love.

For every kind of Mother. Every season. Every dream still calling you.
