Frequently Asked Questions

What do we cover on monthly calls?

Each monthly mentorship call has an intentional conversation topic. These topics are determined by Lindsay as well as the community. Guest speakers are also included some months to discuss specific topics they are knowledgeable about. These calls will be about 60-90 minutes, recorded and replays sent, so that you have the convenience of listening to them when it works best for you. Of course, attending live gives you the ability to ask live questions and spark a rad convo with the community.

I love being a Mother. Will I fit in here if I don’t feel resentful or struggling?

Absolutely. This is not a space for Mother-bashing or parenting regret. We love our children fiercely and we believe we deserve to be fully ourselves alongside that love. If you love Motherhood and also want to build something, create something, and step into your full power, that is exactly who this was built for. Being a Mother is the greatest gift and the most important role of our lives which is why stepping into our Matriarch era is so important.

Is this a self-care membership?

No. While self-care is important, simply talking about our struggles and then taking a bubble bath isn’t going to systemically shift anything for anyone. This community and mentorship is about reclaiming what we lost in Motherhood, choosing to stop playing small, and stepping into the Matriarch role for our families. When we live in authenticity and truth and author our own lives, everyone benefits, especially our children.

I’ve tried therapy, other memberships, and coaching. How is this different?

Most support for Mothers lives at the surface — sleep tips, self-care routines, productivity hacks. The Modern Matriarch goes all the way down to identity. We address the cultural story you were handed — that a good Mother sacrifices everything — and we dismantle it together. This is not about coping strategies - it's about a complete reframe of who you are and what you're allowed to want. There is no other community doing exactly this work, in this way, for Mothers.

How do I know this will help me?

Can I upgrade from The Circle to The Table?

Yes — members can upgrade at any time based on availability. The Table spots are limited to ensure the quality of your 1:1 experience remains exceptional. There are no contracts within the Modern Matriarch - members may shift tiers at any time and cancel membership at any time as well.

I barely have the time to shower. How will I find the time to commit to a membership?

The Modern Matriarch was designed by a Mother who understands that time is your most sacred resource. You can engage as deeply or as lightly as your season allows. There is no attendance requirement, no guilt for a quiet week, and no falling behind. The community is always there when you have ten minutes or two hours. Even small doses of this work add up to enormous shifts over time. I have found this to be true for myself within business memberships - some weeks I have more capacity for it than others but it’s always there when I am ready.

Is this only for new Mothers, or can I join if I my kids are older?

The Modern Matriarch is for any Mother who has lost herself in Motherhood — whether your baby is six weeks old or your youngest just started high school. The identity shift doesn't have an expiration date. If you're still carrying the weight of who you used to be and wondering how to find your way back, you belong here. Many of our members have been Mothering for years and are only now giving themselves permission to do this work.

I feel guilty spending money on myself. How do I get past that?

That guilt is exactly what we work through together in this community. It is the martyr story doing its job keeping you small and calling it love. The question is never whether you can afford to invest in yourself. The question is what it costs your family when you don't. A depleted, invisible, resentful Mother is not the gift you want to give the people you love most.
